- My love of food and passion for serving people has helped me explore all that the food service industry has to offer. With a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and over eight years of industry experience I have been able to develop skills to enhance my God given talents. My professional experience includes working for Emeril’s a reputable restaurant and a food network pioneer and Whole Foods. I’m a native of New Orleans and love its rich “gumbo” food culture: full of flavor, different ingredients, and rooted in its cooks’ abilities. Similarly, I’m full of flavor, diverse in my make up, and rooted in the one who created me. I truly believe that with Christ I can accomplish anything. I have accomplished so much in my life and I look forward to see where God is going to lead me with a catering business. My foundations in food are solid but I’m looking to develop my business skills. The Allan Houston Foundation Business Program will help me develop a plan that will showcase my business and culinary skills.
